Ground conditions assessment for route corridor
selection and
alignment design:
- Comprehensive services including site investigation and assessment, with our own in-house team designing and undertaking geophysical surveys, and wide-ranging expertise in geotechnical engineering and design, including earthquake risk assessment and seismic engineering.
Environmental impact assessment:
- Surveys, assessment and construction management services in EIA and specialist areas such as acoustics, noise and vibration, air quality, contaminated land risk assessment and remediation, ecology and biodiversity, flood risk assessment and works affecting watercourses. We consider that part and parcel of this work includes obtaining all necessary consents and licenses, where appropriate, and liasing closely with planning authorities, environmental and safety regulators.
Materials and construction technology:
- Construction materials evaluation and consultancy, providing construction quality assurance including on-site NDT and other weld testing and a wide range of laboratory services.
Contractual disputes and claims:
- Various senior members of staff have built up considerable experience in formulating and evaluating contractual claims relating to ground conditions and are available to act providing Expert witness services
