Legionella Risk Assessment and Water Hygiene |
| |
Public, commercial and residential property owners have a duty to manage Legionella risks within internal water systems in their properties and in industrial installations such as cooling towers and storage tanks.
The process can involve up to three stages, commencing with an on-site survey of the water system and associated initial risk assessment. This may lead on to one-off or periodic water sampling and analysis. Where water quality is at risk there may be a need to implement one or more actions from a range of possible remedial options.
RSK STATS provides a service that encompasses the risk assessment, sampling, analysis and independent advice on the best remedial actions if required. We have a strong track record for these services across the public sector, registered social landlords and in particularly sensitive premises such as care homes, nursing establishments and hospitals.
As a matter of policy, we specify, competitively procure of behalf of our clients and supervise treatment and other remedial works to be carried out by contractors, rather than offering the works in-house. We believe that this provides the best overall value for our clients.
RSK STATS Limited is certified by DNV to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 for Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety Management, accredited by CHAS and holds registrations with Constructionline, Link-up & UVDB.
